Mother was a witch and Dad a pirate, yet he was raised by Ninjas.
Shawn's work has taken him to locations as diverse as the wind swept Dry Valleys of Antarctica to the wilds of Alaska, from the streets of Europe to the mountains of Asia. He has traveled to 5 of the 7 continents and counting.
He is a 5 time nominated and 4 time Emmy Award winning Director of Photography, a skilled photographer, a killer Gaffer, a very capable Key Grip, as well as an adequate husband and a perty awesome dad...
Shawn's past incarnations have included such varied roles as Grizzly Bear Guide, Stagehand, Rigger, Flight Attendant, SAR team member and EMT. He even sold insurance (for about a week).
He is an avid martial artist who has studied Shotokan Karate, Shao-lin Kung Fu, Aikido, Ninjutsu and more recently the Chinese internal martial art of Ba Gua.
He has taken numerous tactical firearms courses as well as wilderness emergency medical, search and rescue, high angle rescue, white water rescue, and wilderness survival courses. He is currently Advanced Open Water dive certified and working actively towards PADI Rescue Diver certification with sights on Master Diver certification.
He has studies the ways of the force and is a very capable navigator of the matrix.
Shawn enjoys playing DJ as a hobby under the moniker "Jedi Boogie" and is as funky as they come.
